Two new choreographers will be joining the Bay Area Dancers family!

Join us today to for “Dancer Sign-Up Day” on January, 22nd from 4-5pm.  Both choreographers will be showcasing their pieces and teaching a few 8-counts so you can get a feel for the piece before signing up!

Smooth, Street Jazz with Francesca:

“We just want to kick it with some people who are real, but we can’t seem to get that here. “Here” conveys attitude, sassiness, and collected coolness through smooth street jazz to Alessia Cara’s “Here”. Although there is much attitude, small moments of sexiness and seduction are subtly accented. They’ll wish they could break up out of here with you too.”

Modern with Sara:

“A modern piece by women and for women! This short piece will explore females supporting females in these hectic times using modern dance movement. Influence and inspiration comes from various idolized modern dance companies and pioneers, the beautiful female body and the need for support. Flexed feet, body contact and undulating torsos, oh my!”
